Gwinnett County based Winmark Homes consistently ranks high among Atlanta Homebuilders on the Atlanta Business Chronicle Book of Lists. Ranked as Atlanta's 14th largest builder, the family owned business was founded by David Jenkins in 1990 and closed 550 homes in 2006.
With corporate offices in Suwanee, Georgia, the company has approximately 80 employees. In 2006, Winmark Town Square opened. This 12,000 square foot design center, fashioned after a traditional town square, is comprised of individual stores where home buyers can visit, shop and select the products and features for their new homes. Keeping the quaint town square feel, a cafe offers the opportunity to relax and discuss the design process while enjoying a snack.
Focusing on Gwinnett, Jackson, Barrow, Fulton and Forsyth counties, Winmark Homes builds and sells townhomes and single-family homes at prices from the $180,000s to the $500,000s. The builders niche price point is from $250,000 to $350,000 with their average home priced at $275,000.

- In 2007, Winmark Homes was named one of the top 25 Pinnacle Small Business Award Winners by the Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce. Winmark Homes was the only homebuilder on the list. The award is based on a range of criteria including staying power, growth, sales, original entrepreneurship,innovation and community contributions.
- Ranked 181st on the 2007 Professional Builder Giant 400 Largest Homebuilders in the United States list.
